For the Chamber’s Q2 Innovation Series, we were delighted to feature Ascendas-Singbridge and NUS Enterprise, who shared why and how they combined efforts to foster a community of collaborators. Ascendas-Singbridge recognised its ability to go beyond just being a provider of infrastructure but to also become a knowledge and resource integrator. NUS Enterprise, on the other hand, sees start-ups as being a carrier of innovation and brings together a pool of start-ups, university researchers and academics and corporates. Together, the 2 partners successfully developed a powerful innovation ecosystem.
During the presentations, participants were introduced to one of Ascendas-Singbridge and NUS Enterprise’s joint projects, The Hangar at Singapore Science Park – Singapore’s first Deep Technology Hub. Participants also learnt of the opportunities that were available for corporates to connect with the community of start-ups as technology partners.
We would like to thank Mr Aylwin Tan, Chief Customer Solutions Officer of Ascendas-Singbridge and Mr Brian Koh, Director of NUS Enterprise for sharing their companies’ innovation journey. For those who have missed this session, the presentation slides are available for download below:
