The Chamber’s 2018 Annual General Meeting (AGM) took place on 20 June. Mr Jonathan Asherson, SICC Chairman, delivered a report on Chamber activities over the past year and our 2017 financial results. The Chamber’s Board of Directors was also elected during the meeting and we are delighted to announce the re-election of:

• Mr Jonathan Asherson, Non Executive Director of Sembcorp Industries Ltd as SICC Chairman
• Prof Arnoud De Meyer, President of Singapore Management University as First Deputy Chairman
• Mr Uttam Kripalani, Managing Director of Galaxy Insurance Consultants Pte Ltd as Second Deputy Chairman

Immediately following the AGM was a cocktail reception held at the elegant Pacific Ballroom of Pan Pacific Singapore. Close to 200 Chamber members and partners, diplomats and Singapore government representatives attended the reception and enjoyed a sumptous spread of canapes, drinks and live stations. A highlight of the reception was a keynote adddress by Ms Andrea Della Mattea, President of Microsoft Asia Pacific, who spoke about her organisation’s cultural transformation journey.
