“These awards recognise the partnership between large organisations and SMEs and encourage everyone to learn and improve” remarked Alex Hungate, President and CEO, SATS Ltd.

Victor Mills, Chief Executive of SICC commented:
“The Chamber congratulates this year’s winners and all shortlisted nominees. SICC is convinced that innovation via collaboration is one of the very best ways for SMEs to grow their capabilities, sustain their business, keep relevant and become more productive. SICC encourages more businesses to step forward, to collaborate and to share their journeys in next year’s SICC Awards.”

About the Awards
The Singapore International Chamber of Commerce (SICC) launched its new annual awards called the SICC Awards: Innovations in Productivity in April 2015. These awards are designed to recognise, celebrate, encourage and, most importantly, learn from collaborations where large organisations help Singapore SMEs innovate to improve their capabilities and increase their growth and productivity.

The SICC Awards are an extension of the Chamber’s support for SPRING Singapore’s Partnerships for Capability Transformation (“PACT”) programme. This programme seeks to match make large and small organisations and bring them together to collaborate for mutual benefit.

SICC Awards will be presented in the following two categories:

  • Most transformational collaboration
  • Most scalable collaboration

The inaugural awards dinner will be held at Marina Bay Sands on 26 February 2016. The gala dinner will be preceded by a late afternoon seminar on the same day showcasing the key lessons learned from all the nominated collaborations.
