Three years ago, we held our Year End Reception at Chamber member Conrad Centennial Hotel at its glorious venue The Pavilion. We deliberately chose the same venue for this year’s Year End Reception on 17 November – the first since 2019’s. We celebrated the ability to meet in person and our members for their input and support. As one of them said: “I always look forward to this event. It signals we’ve made it to the end of another year!” We know what he means.

Thanks to good weather, the view from The Pavilion was beautiful and thanks to the committed Conrad team we had a very good F+B experience and enjoyed superlative, anticipatory service. But it was our members who made the event. They were out in force in all their diversity and so many people expressed their appreciation for what we do, how we do it and what we say. This is so encouraging for the SICC team which exists to help and serve Chamber members.

We would like to thank all members and guests for their participation and encouraging words. For those who were unable to join us yesterday evening, we look forward to your company at the Welcome Back Reception which will be held on 11 January 2023 at The Fullerton Hotel.
