The Chamber was delighted to collaborate with Business China on a webinar entitled “Striving for Stability – A Multilateral Recovery from the Pandemic”.

This was a prelude to Business China’s annual flagship conference FutureChina Global Forum which this year will take place on 7 October.

We all benefitted from the expert panel comprising of Mr. Eugene Ng of Chevron Oronite Pte Limited, Mr. Jixun Foo of GGV Capital and Board Member, Business China Limited, and Ms. Selena Ling of OCBC Bank. Each speaker provided an analysis of the impacts of recent policies implemented by China and ASEAN countries to accelerate economic recovery. They also touched on some of the challenges brought about by the pandemic and how multilateralism still has a big part to play in the post-pandemic recovery. Superbly moderated by Mr. Nicholas Fang, Founder & Managing Director, Black Dot, the panel discussion provided deep insights from a macro, investment and sectoral perspective to help businesses understand the current trends and navigate through the turbulence.
