Our guest speaker on 21 September 2017 was Ms Goh Swee Chen, Chairman of Shell Companies in Singapore.

During her 45-min presentation, Swee Chen likened the journey of navigating through our careers to playing an infinite digital game – as the player progresses through escalating levels of difficulty and complexity, the rules of the game could also change at each of these levels. Drawing parallels from her wealth of career experiences, Swee Chen shared important lessons on resilience and leadership that she experienced whilst living and working abroad and juggling both work and family life.

Participants were engaged in a lively discussion during the Q&A segment that followed. Swee Chen provided her candid insights on a variety of topics including work life balance, diversity and inclusivity, and leadership.
