The third of our Trade Matters Series this year focused on how businesses can map their supply chains to Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) to leverage them optimally, cut costs and increase competitive advantage in key markets. Our speaker was that guru of FTAs and all matters relating to trade, Dr. Deborah Elms, Founder and Executive Director of the Asian Trade Centre (ATC) and author of the Chamber’s Plain English Free Trade Agreement (FTA) Guides. As always, Deborah provided practical advice, reinforced with clear examples to help laymen and women businesspeople navigate the complexities of FTAs and come out on top. We’ll never look at peach jam quite the same way ever again!
