The Evolving Cybersecurity Threat: Implications for Asian Businesses

14 July 2021 @ 9:00 am - 10:30 am

Webinar

The timing for our webinar today on The Evolving Cybersecurity Threat could not have been better given recent high-profile cyberattacks and cybercrimes. Thanks to a collaboration with Chamber member Brunswick, we were privileged to host guest speaker Admiral Michael Rogers, Senior Advisor to the Brunswick Group who spoke about the evolving cyber risks and how businesses should respond. It was wonderful to be in the presence of a former 4-star Admiral who served simultaneously as Director, U.S. National Security Agency and Commander of the U.S. Cyber Command. His military and corporate experience provided a rich seam of knowledge, perspective and practical ideas for businesses to protect their operations and their customers.

It is no surprise that company culture came up as a vital risk area as did those of leadership, preparation, flexibility and communication.

It was an equal privilege to have as moderator for the dialogue a former Singapore diplomat Sunitha Chalam who is now a Partner of the Brunswick Group and its Cybersecurity Practice Lead for Asia.

The Chamber would like to thank Mike for his time and insights, Sunitha for moderating and Brunswick Group for a valued collaboration. Our thanks too to the audience for some great questions.
