Samuel Sharpe, Director of Duane Morris & Selvam LLP presented to the participants a good overview of the key legal and policy issues related to the employment of foreign professionals in Singapore. He also touched on the Fair Consideration Framework, Jobs Bank and the Tripartite Guidelines on Fair Employment Practices.  One of the key highlights of the presentation was the sharing of real-life case studies which allowed Samuel to emphasise the severe penalties for misleading the Ministry of Manpower during applications. A very lively and candid Q & A session followed.
