The Albatross File Exhibition & Networking Reception

30 April 2026, 3.00pm - 6.30pm

National Library Building

The Chamber invites members to an evening of reflection and connection, bringing together historical insight and contemporary dialogue.

The event begins with a guided visit to The Albatross File: Singapore’s Independence Declassified exhibition at the National Library Building. Drawing on newly declassified documents and oral history accounts, the exhibition provides a nuanced perspective on the pivotal years between 1963 and 1965, tracing Singapore’s transition from merger to separation and the establishment of an independent nation. These reflections provide a meaningful backdrop for conversations on perspective, resilience, and the shared journeys that continue to shape Singapore’s business environment today.

The evening will continue with a networking reception hosted at Newcastle Australia Institute of Higher Education, offering members the opportunity to exchange views and strengthen connections within the community.

This event is complimentary for members, while a nominal fee of $15 applies to non-members.
