The Chamber was delighted to host Ms. Joanna Patterson, Vice President Sales, APAC of Etihad Airways and Mr. Simon Middlebrough, Chief Executive of Singapore Aero Engine Services Private Limited (SAESL) as our guest speakers for the third Sustainability Series event on 30 August 2022.

Joanna provided an update on the current travel landscape and her company’s green initiatives as it works towards its net zero emissions commitment. She also highlighted some of the conscious choices organizations can make to collectively reduce the impact to the environment when making leisure and business travel plans.  Simon talked about the use of SAF (Sustainable Aviation Fuel) and hydrogen as viable alternatives to fuel aircrafts without producing harmful emissions. He also highlighted the infrastructure and regulatory challenges around hydrogen.
