18 July 2019 @ 2:45 pm - 6:30 pm
The Pod at National Library, Level 16, 100 Victoria Street, Singapore 188064
Last year, the Chamber partnered Channel NewsAsia for the first televised forum on Collaborative Innovation. The second forum took place at The Pod at The National Library on 18 July 2019, as part of the learning component of the annual awards which celebrates collaborative innovation.
Our panelists comprised of the 2019 SICC Awards winners – Mr Sam Lee, Managing Director, Global Switch (Property) Singapore Pte Limited; Mr Paul Fong, Country Manager, Dow Singapore and Malaysia; Ms Roxane Desmicht, Senior Director Corporate Supply Chain (CSC) Asia Pacific, Infineon Technologies AP Pte Ltd; and Ms Charmaine Toh, Head of Business, p;log Pte Ltd. Their discussions were moderated by Prof. Annie Koh, V3 Group Professor of Family Entrepreneurship, Vice President of Business Development at Singapore Management University.
The forum kicked off with the panelists introducing how their companies were linked to the award-winning collaborations. They discussed the value of Singapore as a fertile ground for collaboration before going on to emphasise the roles that digitalisation and innovation play in their respective organisations. The panelists shared candidly about work culture and the importance of cultural transformation in order to advance to the next level of innovation. The forum ended with all parties sharing key lessons learnt and their future collaboration plans. The key takeaway point is that collaboration is the way forward for growth and continuity. The audience also engaged the panelists through several lively exchange of views. Immediately following the forum was a networking reception where the attendees had opportunity to interact with the winning companies.
Many thanks to our panelists and moderator for the engaging discussions and to everyone who attended for being a part of the audience! We would also like to thank our knowledge partner, SMU and venue sponsor, National Library Board Singapore for their support at this event.
Do catch this programme on Channel NewsAsia – it will be aired on Thursday, 15 August 2019 at 7pm. Repeats broadcast are scheduled on Saturday, 17 August at 1pm and Monday, 19 August, at 4pm.
