At the 185th Annual General Meeting (AGM), we welcomed our new Board of Directors for the 2026-2029 term. We are delighted to welcome three newly elected Board members whose diverse expertise and leadership experience will further strengthen the Chamber:
- Ms Wu Jiat-Hui, Heidrick & Struggles
- Ms Juhi McClelland, IBM Consulting Asia Pacific
- Mr Clemens Philippi, MSIG Asia Pte Ltd
More than 200 business leaders, policymakers and representatives from over 30 diplomatic missions gathered at SICC’s 185th AGM Luncheon.
We thank our Guest-of-Honour, Mr Chan Chun Sing, Coordinating Minister for Public Services and Minister for Defence, for an insightful and engaging fireside dialogue, moderated by Professor Kok-Kwang Phoon, President of Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD).
Our appreciation also goes to our event partners – Ortoli Rosenstadt Ye LLP (ORY), Nestlé, BDO LLP, EtonHouse International Education Group, SICC Rubber Association (SICCRA) and Singapore Mentorship Committee (SMC) – for their valued support in bringing together leaders from business, government and the diplomatic community to facilitate meaningful dialogue on Singapore’s next chapter.
Against a backdrop of geopolitical shifts, rapid technological change and evolving trade dynamics, the discussion explored the intersections of people, sovereignty and technology, centred on three enduring themes:
🛡️ Resilience: Building organisations that can adapt and thrive amid disruption
🔄 Renewal: Continually evolving capabilities, institutions and business models to remain relevant and competitive.
🤝 Collective Responsibility: Recognising that lasting success depends on strong partnerships between business, government and the international community.
The dialogue also examined the implications of artificial intelligence for the future of work, alongside the growing importance of data, finance and energy connectivity in strengthening Singapore’s and ASEAN’s long-term competitiveness, resilience and openness.
SICC remains committed to convening trusted platforms where business, government and international partners can exchange perspectives, build meaningful connections and navigate the opportunities and challenges shaping our collective future.
We look forward to engaging our members and partners as we explore the ideas and collaborations that will shape Singapore’s next chapter.
