Thanks to the pandemic, and how the world of work has changed in 2020, most of us have a far greater awareness of the importance of mental wellbeing than we had prior to Covid-19.
Building on last year’s mental wellbeing webinars, today we held the first of four events this year in our Mindfulness at Work Series. Our guest speaker Mr. Ronnie Sabnani, Managing Principal of Infinye Incorporated took us through the building blocks of developing the right mindset through mindfulness beneficial both for work and for home. We were delighted to hold this webinar in conjunction with Prudential as part of their Building Better Business Initiative.
In one poll the majority of the audience indicated they experienced a lack of awareness of how quickly their work day can go by when working from home. Another audience poll suggested that most people see mindfulness helping to reduce stress, improve their problem solving capabilities and increase their overall wellbeing.
Ronnie provided some useful tips to companies interested to help their employees achieve mindfulness which can positively impact their work and their personal lives.
We would like to thank Ronnie for his insightful presentation and members of the audience for their questions. We look forward to having Ronnie back with us on 20 May 2021 to talk about the second stage of mindfulness – Communicate with Intent.
