SICC co-organised its first beach clean-up event, “Make it Count – Protect our Environment”, with member Dow on 16 November 2019 at the Pasir Ris Park. The event garnered overwhelming response with over 180 participants comprising Dow employees, Chamber members and their family and friends.

An impressive 389 kilograms of litter was collected in the one and a half hour of clean-up. The Chamber would like to thank Dow and clean-up partner, Habitat for Humanity Singapore, for collaborating on this very meaningful event. We would also like to thank all participants who contributed their time and effort on a Saturday morning to do their part to care for the environment.
