Mr. Achal Agarwal, President Asia Pacific, Kimberly-Clark Corporation and Member of the SICC Board gave us a masterclass in the theory and practice of leadership. He spoke authentically about his philosophy that the job of leaders is to act and make fast decisions to execute business plans. He shared his leadership mantra which has become that of Kimberly Clark Corporation: simpler, leaner, faster.  He argued that the most effective and successful organizations are those which continually work to reduce bureaucracy, focus on lean, quality teams and empower them to succeed. True corporate leadership also includes creating a culture of caring for the environment.
