The Chamber has been championing selfless leadership and leadership development for over 6 years in support of businesses building and sustaining positive workplace culture and team development. It is for these reasons we were delighted to collaborate with the Human Capital Leadership Institute (HCLI) and to benefit from its expertise and research. Guest speaker Dr. Vijayan Munusamy, Head of Research and Content Development for HCLI, presented on the five Paradoxes of Leadership Development all of which underscore the key leadership attributes advocated by the Chamber. Chief among these is for leaders to practice humility to harness relationships, build trust and to fulfil their roles as enablers of their own and their teams’ development.
