Chamber members visited DBS Bank’s Headquarters, as part of our Q2 Innovation Series on 22 May. Our guest speakers shared insights of their recent digital transformation journey. They highlighted several real-life examples of how DBS uses design thinking, the concept of Jobs-to-be-Done, data and automation to reinvent the traditional banking business model.

During the talk, they also featured a case study of The Future of Audit. The bank’s internal audit team incorporated automated data download and machine learning in their audit methodology to continuously and rapidly sense and respond to the changing business landscape. Their transformation not only brought about increased productivity and agility. Data analytics also provided them with new valued-added insights.
