We had the opportunity to hear about the current developments and future of dispute resolution from Ms. Lim Lei Theng, Partner, Allen & Gledhill LLP, Ms. Hazel Tang, Counsel, ICC International Court of Arbitration, Singapore and Mr. William Zhang, APAC GC, Samsung C&T in a panel discussion moderated by Mr. Akshay Kishore, Partner, Bird & Bird ATMD, Singapore; ICC-YAAF Representative, South Asia. This event is an initiative of our Legal Services Interest Group and a collaboration between the Singapore International Chamber of Commerce (SICC) and the ICC Young Arbitration & ADR Forum (ICC YAAF).

Practical recommendations and toolkits were introduced to help businesses understand the nuances of conflict and dispute resolution. Dispute resolution can be a part of the overall business strategy and recent developments in dispute resolution are key opportunities for businesses to rethink the way they should approach this.
