Mr Piyush Gupta, Chief Executive Officer and Director of DBS Group was our guest speaker on 7 September 2017. In his keynote address, Mr Gupta spoke very passionately about the technological forces that are disrupting industries today and changing business models from “pipes to platforms”. Citing examples from DBS’ own digital transformation journey, he shared tips on how incumbents can best position themselves to compete against the threats posed by platform companies. During the Q&A segment, Mr Gupta also provided his insights for driving change and alignment to change in an organisation.
