The Chamber held a closed door dialogue with Mr. Masagos Zulkifli, Minister for the Environment and Water Resources, to talk about environmental sustainability and how businesses can make the transition towards a low-carbon economy through sustainable business practices and circular economy initiatives. The Minister’s keynote address highlighted the threat of rising sea levels faced by Singapore, the challenge of lowering carbon emissions and reducing energy consumption as well as efforts focused on resource management and waste reduction.

An engaging Q & A session followed the Minister’s address which covered a broad range of topics relating to sustainability and the circular economy.
