As most people know, the Chamber champions collaborative innovation. Members had the opportunity to learn about some of the results of Chamber member DHL’s collaborative innovations with and for its customers and partners. We toured DHL’s Asia Pacific Innovation Center and saw some of the cutting-edge technologies that have transformed supply chain and warehouse management. During the tour, Mr. Ray Leung, Director, Head of Global Center of Excellence, DHL Asia Pacific Innovation Center, presented the DHL Logistics Trend Radar which tracks and filters social, business and technology trends important to customers and partners within the next 5 years and those that will be important between 5 and 10 years ahead. Ray shared how this radar helps the company and its clients create strategy roadmaps not just for logistics but also for HR and other corporate functions. He provided everyone a glimpse into the future of warehousing where the use of robotics is reducing workloads, improving human health and improving efficiency. Ray also demonstrated how AI enhances decision making, improves safety standards and minimizes errors by employees.
