The Chamber’s annual dialogue with the Ministry of Finance (MOF) took place on 3 August 2018. This session usually takes place with members of the Tax Policy Committee. This year, the committee decided to extend the invitation to all members and friends of the Chamber.

More than 80 finance and tax professionals and C-level executives participated in this event. MOF representatives first provided updates on Budget 2018 and international tax developments. Participants then had a chance to raise questions directly with Ms Doreen Tan, Chief Tax Policy Officer, MOF and Ms Chow Wai Yee, Assistant Commissioner, Corporate Tax Division, IRAS. The discussions were moderated by Ms Leong Soon San, Tax Director, Asia Pacific, BP Singapore and Co-Chair of the Chamber’s Tax Policy Committee.
