The Chamber collaborated with AmCham and KADIN to organise a dialogue on President Joko Widodo’s Economic and Business Policies on 27 June 2018. Close to 100 members of the 3 Chambers attended this joint event.

H.E. Mr Ngurah Swajaya, Indonesian Ambassador to Singapore started the session by sharing updates on Indonesia. This was followed by a presentation by Mr Ramdan Denny Prakoso, Head of Bank Indonesia (Indonesia’s Central Bank) to Singapore, who evaluated Indonesia’s economic performances under President Joko Widodo’s leadership.

Participants had a chance to raise questions in a joint Q&A moderated by Dr Michael Goutama, Chairman of KADIN. Discussion topics included the upcoming Indonesian general elections as well as doing business in Indonesia.
