On 15 Jan we held our first hybrid event. A small studio audience Singapore Management University School of Law Auditorium was joined by a much larger online audience for the recording of our TV programme “Collaborate to Innovate: Accelerating Progress” with the winners of the 2020 SICC Awards for Collaborative Innovation. Our programme will be aired on 18 March at 7pm on Channel NewsAsia.

Right from the launch of the awards in 2015, we committed to there always being an opportunity for the business community to learn from the experiences of each year’s winners. This is what sets the SICC Awards apart from others. We want to enable learning by bringing real life business stories to you. To learn how fellow business people accelerated progress to achieve growth and success for their businesses by collaborating with others to innovate. The whole purpose of televising the learning component of our awards is to show you and all of Singapore what’s possible and to inspire more businesses to follow the lead of our award winners and collaborate to innovate.

Our thanks to our panel Mr. William Temple, Mr. Michael Goh, Mr. Bernard Siew and Mr. Simon Middlebrough, to their collaborating partners Mr. Rohit Girdhar, Ms. Daisy Jiang, Mr. Tan Tsien Wei, Ms. Sarah Chan and Mr. James Loke and to our moderator Prof. Annie Koh. Our thanks too to Chamber member SMU and its School of Law for being our hosts.

We will be launching the 2021 edition of the annual SICC Awards before Lunar New Year. Tell your story then.
