Following the AGM, we welcomed nearly 200 guests to our annual luncheon, including Chamber members, Board Directors, and distinguished guests from the business community, government and the Diplomatic Corps. Our Guest-of-Honour, Mr. Ong Ye Kung, Coordinating Minister for Social Policies and Minister for Health, engaged in a thought-provoking dialogue moderated by Prof. Lily Kong, President and Lee Kong Chian Chair Professor at SMU.

Highlights from the Dialogue:
💡Navigating Global & Domestic Challenges: Singapore should learn to thrive amidst geopolitical tensions, rising costs and superpower competition and turn challenges into opportunities.

💡Singapore’s Strategic Role: Singapore will continue to build on its strengths—connectivity, digital infrastructure, and green initiatives—and its role as a stable, collaborative partner in a shifting global landscape.

💡 Education & Youth Well-being: Addressing youth mental health issues can be via a multi-faceted approach involving research, parental guidance and resilience-building.

💡Health & Trust in Society: Promoting holistic health for an ageing population remains very important and public trust can be built through transparency, adaptability, and inclusive solutions.

Our heartfelt thanks to Minister Ong for his insightful and candid sharing, and to Prof. Kong for her expert moderation. Many thanks once again to our Main Sponsors for their generous support and to our guests for their time and active participation.
