We were delighted to have our member, Microsoft, share the insights from the recent Microsoft and IDC Asia Pacific study on “Future Ready Business: Assessing Asia Pacific’s Growth Potential Through AI” on 5 July 2019.

Mr Borko Kovacevic, Marketing & Operations Director of Microsoft Singapore, presented the findings on AI being the game changer that has vastly increased the quality and efficiency of customer engagement.  He also shared where Singapore stands compared to the rest of Asia Pacific in terms of AI-readiness.

Following the presentation was a panel discussion on unlocking the full potential of AI. The panel deliberated on the current landscape of AI in Singapore; its potential and challenges in adoption.  Moderated by Mr Gerald Leo, Director, Commercial Partners and Small Medium Enterprises Group, Microsoft Singapore, the panel comprised of Mr Fuji Foo, Vice President, Business Digitalisation, Certis Group; and Mr Gary Kwang, Co-Founder & Group CEO, SkyLab Group.

Drawing insights from organisations who have already incorporated AI into their core business strategy and are already reaping their business benefits today, the panelists spoke about what drove their companies to embark on the AI journey and the underlying challenges businesses face today.
