Roles & Responsibilities

We are looking for suitable candidate for our Student Service position for the period of Aug 2024 – Jan 2025.

The Student Services Executive plans, coordinate, support and organise activities and operations for LSBF Students.

The Executive will operate faceā€“to face-capacity with students and campus.

The duties include:

Attend to all student enquiries, requests, complaints and feedback.
Provide student care, support and counseling service as appropriate.
Maintain student records through proper documentation and filing.
Assist with student activities with the view to building/maintaining rapport between students and staff and enhancing morale and retention of students.
Provide full support to studentsā€™ enquiries via faceā€“toā€“face, emails or telephone
Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations for meetings
Monitor Student Servicesā€™ social media groups, trends, tools and recommend actions where necessary
Develop outreach and engagement strategy
Provide assistance and support for all programmes and events under the Student Services portfolio
Assist with the planning, organizing and executing of events such as orientation, commencement, graduation ceremony, cultural and clubs activities etc
Contribute to the advancement of an active and vibrant student life, including liaising with faculty, student groups and student leaders
Assist with content contributions on webpages, social media, newsletter etc
Assist with career services and alumni relations to deliver a positive and holistic student and alumni experience
Assist with student hospitalization claims and follow up on claims status
Maintain student data such as membership applications, compile and generate reports and statistics
Establish new collaboration with new merchants and maintain relationships with existing merchants
Requirements:

A Degree with at least two (2) years of relevant experience in planning and executing a wide range of events or working in higher education administration
Experience in working in tertiary education preferred
An independent selfā€“starter with initiative and excellent time management skills with eyes for details
Able to work in a dynamic and culturally diverse environment with good interpersonal and communications skills (written and oral)
Demonstrated ability as team player (flexibility, cooperation, ā€˜can-do attitudeā€™)
Strong organisational skills with strong detail orientation
Skilled at planning, organising and multi-tasking, understands the importance of deadlines and timelines
