The role
We seek a mature and experienced sales leader. A person who will lead our will lead our Singapore sales operations in both Electricity Services and Renewables. You don’t need to be an engineer, Analyst or technical person. In fact, it helps if you aren’t. We are after ‘gold plated’ sales professionals, who have a history and skill set in selling solutions or services in a Business-to-Business Environment. With short sales cycles and lots of variety, you must be willing and capable to roll up your sleeves and work side by side with your team members if needed.
You will lead to team to sell electricity procurement and information solutions and contracts for our customers and provide renewable and environmental commodities in the marketplace. You will be also overseeing a dynamic procurement process team, for our renewables and carbon credit teams.
If you are will actively liaise and service counter parties and provide them good customer service and relationship management.
Your exceptional team leadership and counterparty relationship management will be your key to your success.
Functional Scope
AECO Energy is a provider of a wide range of Electricity and Renewables products across Australia, Philippine and Singapore. You will lead two teams, Electricity brokerage and services teams and the renewables broking and trading teams. The teams are based in Singapore and sell locally and internationally respectively. You will have a leadership role in the company and must be hands on. We are growing the business, and this role needs to lead and grow their team to gain more market success.
Reporting to the Global sales manager, you will join a group of national sales leaders responsible for the sales of market relevant products into the local Singaporean market.
• Lead two sales teams. Electricity and Services, and Renewables.
• Develop and build relationships with external counterparties and stakeholders.
• Ensure the team delivers sales results and happy customers and happy suppliers.
Role Skills and Experience
• At least 5 years of experience in sales leadership.
• At least 5 years of services, technical product, or solution selling in a B2B environment.
• Proven leadership skills and the ability to manage a team effectively.
• Strong human management and relationship management abilities.
• Proven experience in managing a high-performance team and high-performance individuals.
