Job Description
Role: Senior Finance Manager/Finance Manager/Assistant Finance Manager
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Director, Corporate Services to oversee all aspects of Finance Functions;
- Supervise month-end closing to meet stipulated reporting timeline;
- Review of financials to ensure accurate reporting to meet internal, regulatory and other governmental requirements;
- Liaise with external accounting firm, external auditor and tax consultant to ensure timely submission (quarterly/annual regulatory requirement, income tax, GST, withholding tax etc.);
- Support the annual budgeting process and during the course of the year, to give timely comparison and analysis of budget versus actual business performance;
- Oversee and ensure finance team adhere to the accounting policies and procedures and if need be, make recommendation to align to the latest development and/or best practice;
- Key driver to initiate and drive workflow improvements to improve overall efficiency;
- Any other ad hoc projects assigned from time to time.
What it takes to succeed in this job
- Degree in Accounting or Finance (preferably with professional accounting qualification);
- 7 years of accounting and reporting experience with at least 3 years in managerial role;
- Independent, self-driven and strong sense of responsibility;
- Keen eye for details and like new challenges;
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel
