Job Description

The Office of Student Life is looking for a suitable person to undertake the full-time, live-in role of a Residential Life Coordinator to enhance the vibrancy and quality of hostel life experience for students at SUTD.

 

Some training will be provided on the job, with the broad responsibilities being:

  • To conduct leadership and other similar courses for students not limited to residents
  • To investigate hostel-related offences
  • To manage student incidents and provide pastoral care
  • To lend logistical and manpower support for hostel activities and department/University events
  • To respond to student enquiries, create forms, and collate attendance/feedback for hostel events

 

Requirements:

  • Able to live-in fully at the accommodation on campus
  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
  • Relevant experience of at least 2 years in conducting training, facilitating discussions and mentoring/coaching students
  • Some exposure to handling investigation work and disciplinary cases will be advantageous
  • A strong command of written and spoken English
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator, Photography/Videography
  • Possessing the interest and finesse to work with tertiary students and a wide variety of stakeholders
  • Self-driven, meticulous and organized
  • Excellent team player
