Singapore International Chamber of Commerce Rubber Association

The interests of Chamber members involved in the rubber trade are looked after by the Singapore International Chamber of Commerce Rubber Association (SICCRA), an independent organisation comprising of ordinary and associate members. Ordinary membership of the association is open only to Chamber members, one of whom is nominated each year to sit on the Chamber’s Board of Directors. SICCRA members play a consultative role in the activities of the Singapore Commodity Exchange Ltd, and also provide advice to government institutions like Enterprise Singapore to strengthen Singapore’s role as a derivatives centre for commodities.

The Singapore Business Federation (SBF) was formed by an Act of Singapore’s Parliament on 5 October 2001 and is the apex business chamber in Singapore. The Singapore International Chamber of Commerce is one of its founding members.  sbf.org.sg

Relations with ICC Paris

The International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) is a world business organisation founded in 1919 in Paris with members from over 120 countries. ICC promotes international trade, investment and the market economy system. It makes the rules that govern the conduct of international business. It provides essential services, foremost among them being the ICC International Court of Arbitration, the world’s leading institution of its kind. SICC continues to support the work of ICC by providing members and customers with the ATA Carnet service in Singapore. iccwbo.org
