The Digitalization Interest Group benefitted from sharing by Mr Ng Tek Ming, Senior Lecturer of Republic Polytechnic on the ABCDs Courses for Digitalization, where members learnt about the different ICT courses offered by Republic Polytechnic for fresh graduates and mid-career switchers; and the incentives offered to individuals and companies who sign up for the Work-Study program. The meeting heard about the most in-demand skill sets in the industry today and the corresponding courses enrolment. Members of the meeting then discussed various ways in which IHLs, employers and jobseekers can better synergise in order to achieve a win-win outcome for everyone.
