The world has seen an increasing proliferation of cryptocurrencies and more pervasive adoption of its underlying blockchain technology. Even as cryptocurrencies gain more mainstream prominence, there are ever increasing laws and regulations seeking to regulate the use of cryptocurrencies. Hock Lai and Benjamin will provide the meeting a primer into cryptocurrencies and technological trends in the use of blockchain technology, and broad understanding Singapore’s regulatory framework of cryptocurrencies.
