Members were pleased to have Prof. Michael Goutama, KADIN, share his views and observations on Indonesia’s economic performance post elections, where Joko Widodo will serve for the second term as President. He highlighted Joko’s leadership focusing on Trisakti (Three Power Principles) and some of the areas in which businesses should note when investing and operating in the country. Economic strategies including investment opportunities in key industries were highlighted. Members engaged in discussions and exchanged views on their respective experiences operating in Indonesia after the presentation.
