Members of Singapore International Chamber of Commerce (SICC) and  guests travelled to Johor Bahru on 26 Feb to renew ties and make new connections. The Chamber was pleased that Deputy Chairman Wong Joo Seng could join and represent the SICC Board.

The event was the Chinese New Year Luncheon, organized by the Malaysian International Chamber of Commerce & Industry (MICCI) Southern Region’s team, led by Olivia Chin. Olivia and her team made the event a success, and their hard work was appreciated by all attendees.

Friendships were renewed on both sides of the Causeway. The luncheon provided a perfect opportunity to introduce Bita Seow, SICC’s Chief Executive Designate, to MICCI friends and some of its members.

Everyone enjoyed the event, and members and guests alike look forward to the joint 188th-anniversary celebration on 18 August 2025, marking the founding of both Chambers in 1837.
