16 March 2022 @ 3:00 pm - 4:30 pm

Webinar

Given the current world situation the title for the Chamber’s 16 March webinar on “ASEAN & COVID-19: Uncertainties amidst sustainable and digital opportunities” could not be more apt. Thanks to a collaboration with Singapore Institute of International Affairs (SIIA) the audience was able to gain a clear understanding of current risks and current and future opportunities in a growing region.

We were delighted to host a panel of expert speakers to share their expertise with us. Mr. Manu Bhaskaran, Founding Director and CEO, Centennial Asia Advisors; Council Member, SIIA provided insights on how the current world situation affects Singapore, its role in ASEAN, the opportunities for businesses and the uncertainties along the way. Ms. Jessica Wa’u, Deputy Director (ASEAN), SIIA talked about ASEAN’s growing digital economy, Singapore’s role in the digital connectivity of the region and digital cooperation between ASEAN member states. Ms. Gan Meixi, Deputy Director (Sustainability), SIIA covered how Singapore companies can take advantage of green economy opportunities in the region to stay competitive.

The Chamber thanks Manu, Jessica and Meixi for their time and insights. We would also like to thank the audience for its participation.
