Poh Bee Ling, Director , Agri-Technology & Food Dept, Urban Food Solutions Division, Singapore Food Agency (SFA) shared with the meeting on “Overview of 30 by 30 Initiative and Urban Farming in Singapore” where members learnt about the initiative to produce 30% of Singapore’s nutrition needs by 2030 and the business opportunities in the agri-tech sector like R&D. Members had a lively discussion thereafter on an old shoe recycling initiative and the formation of a Working Group to develop educational materials for our young.
