Dear Members and Friends
Since 2018
Hope Initiative Alliance (HIA)
has worked with over 100 social
service and civil society
organizations, businesses and
government agencies to serve the
following beneficiaries:-
v
Children and youth from lower
income families
v
Families living in rental
housing
v
Homeless people and rough
sleepers
v
Migrant workers living in
dormitories and
v
Migrant domestic workers
In
this Giving Season, I commend
HIA’s The Alphabet Project Kids
(TAPKids)
which provides reading, writing
and storytelling programs to
children from lower income
families. This is no alphabet
soup but a consistent program of support designed to help
increase literacy to enable
social mobility through
education.
To
launch the program in 2025,
seed funding of SGD 350,000 is
needed. HIA is an Institution of
Public Character and all
donations above are SGD 10 are
eligible for a 250% tax
deduction. To learn more and to

and empowerment for children

backgrounds.
Small Change, Big Impact: For
Mental Health Caregivers: The Caregivers Alliance aims to
raise awareness and funds to
support mental health caregivers
by encouraging small, regular
acts of giving. Collective
contributions offer financial,
emotional and mental support to
these caregivers.
Last, but not least, tomorrow
will be International Migrants’
Day. The theme this year is
honoring the contributions of
migrants and respecting their
rights as fellow human beings.
We are an immigrant society like
so many others around the world.
Let’s continue our evolution and
practice this year’s theme every
day by what we say and do.
Have
a good week ahead.
Yours faithfully
