This week we want to focus on giving opportunities which you have asked us to highlight as they are important to you and your teams.

v  Community Chest: As the philanthropy and engagement arm of the National Council of Social Service, Community Chest plays a vital role as a one-stop philanthropic partner for businesses to express their commitment to social goals as part of ESG and create positive social impact for communities in need.

v  Check out The SGD 20 million Change for Charity grant, a government matching scheme, supports corporates in maximizing their giving efforts and creating a greater impact in the social service sector.

v  Another opportunity would be SHARE, the regular giving programme, emphasizes collective and sustained giving, mitigating the impact of economic downturns on charitable contributions. Under the SHARE as One (SAO) programme, the Government provides dollar-for-dollar matching for additional donations from companies, employees, and individuals through SHARE, further supporting the social service sector.

v  This Halloween, Catalyse, a diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) practice owned by AWARE, a Singaporean women's rights advocacy group, is organizing a fundraising ball to raise $650,000 with 20% of the proceeds going towards supporting women in need, advocating for fairness, and empowering communities.
