Dear Members and Friends

It is a pleasure for the SICC Team to wish all our Muslim members, friends and our Muslim colleagues a joyful celebration of Hari Raya Puasa on 22 April.

One of Singapore’s core strengths is the value of multiculturalism where we respect each other’s religious and cultural festivals. This is how it should be for everyone, everywhere in the world. It isn’t of course which is why all of us in Singapore should count our blessings and not take our positive multiculturalism for granted.

It is a precious force for good and the responsibility of each of us to sustain it every day not just at festival time. We can best do that by being consistently respectful of others as we expect them to be consistently respectful of us at home, at work and in all our interactions with our fellow human beings in person and, especially, online.
