It is
with much pleasure we announce
the renaming of our flagship
Distinguished Speaker Series to
The Signature Series to
mark the 100th
anniversary in August 2023 of
the birth of the late Brother
Joseph McNally.
Brother Joseph was a De La Salle
Brother, a teacher, a noted
sculptor, a Singaporean and the
founder of LASALLE College of
the Arts. The motif for The
Signature Series is his bronze
sculpture “The Signature” gifted
to the Chamber by LASALLE in
2002 and expertly photographed
for us by Adrian Thoo.
The first Signature Series event
will take place on 30 March when
our speaker will be Dr. Tan See
Leng, Minister for Manpower and
Second Minister for Trade and
Industry. The event will provide
you an opportunity to dialogue
with Dr. Tan on Ministry of
Manpower (MOM) initiatives.
Specifically, on manpower
announcements made at MOM's
Committee of Supply (COS) 2023.
COS is the debate following the
annual Budget Statement at which
each ministry sets out how its
allocated budget will be spent.
People are the lifeblood of
every business. We encourage you
to attend and provide your
feedback and perspectives on
MOM’s initiatives during the
dialogue with the Minister.
