Dear Members and Friends

As we look forward to the year-end festivities and holiday, let’s not forget the underserved communities among us. Your Chamber has been a long-time supporter of APSN which stands for the Association for People with Special Needs. APSN serves the intellectually different, and most of whom are able to perform a variety of roles, including repetitive tasks, with ease and a high level of accuracy that the rest of us may not excel in.

After a two-year hiatus, APSN will be holding its very first physical event – APSN Charity Fashion Party on 11 January 2023 at *SCAPE Orchard. Themed ‘A New Frontier of Inclusive Collection’, APSN trainees with mild intellectual disability will be collaborating with fashion design students from TaF.tc, a textile and fashion industry training centre, to co-design and create their fashionable design pieces for the Charity Fashion Party.

As part of its fund-raising efforts, APSN is appealing to organizations and individuals to support this event. Contributions will go towards funding the learning and development of the special needs trainees, as well as employment support as they step into our society. The target is $400,000 in cash donation.

In this season of giving, make a difference in the lives of our special needs community by donating generously.
