Dear
Members and Friends
In this issue we recognize the work of the Chamber’s member-exclusive Legal Services Interest Group co-chaired by Dawn Tan and Tony Grundy.
This interest group has a strong cohort of large and small Singapore firms as well as a good mix of European and US headquartered firms. What many interest group members found most valuable is the networking opportunities and robust exchange of views between the Singapore and foreign firms on current issues and concerns affecting the legal profession.
The interest group provides an effective channel of communication with the Government, in particular the Ministry of Law and the Law Society of Singapore. It has been very active in organizing seminars and training sessions tackling a wide range of topics from mental health and wellbeing for lawyers to drafting and interpreting contracts for younger lawyers. This year the interest group continues its good effort in curating thought leadership content and ramping up its events and programmes to appeal to the wider membership.
A good example is the upcoming lunchtime talk this Thursday, 27 October, where a panel of experts will come together to provide insights on how to navigate your PR and legal challenges when a crisis strikes. Event and registration details can be found below so do register if you have not done so.
