Dear
Members and Friends
As the first business association in Singapore to champion the circular economy, when it was still unfashionable to do so, we are proud to support the work of Global Compact Network Singapore (GCNS). This organization champions the United Nations’ sustainability goals which, when you think about it, summarize our collective responsibility as stewards of this planet to protect it and all the species that inhabit it. Stewardship is about handing over assets in better shape than we found them. There is much to do and the time for talk has passed. Action is needed now. Enabled by government and fit-for purpose regulation, businesses are the ones which are leading the necessary changes to fulfill our stewardship responsibilities and to recenter governance on people. As consumers we need to do our bit too to reduce waste and increase recycling.
These are the reasons we support GCNS and its upcoming summit. Read on for more information and to register.

The GCNS Summit is an annual flagship event hosted by Global Compact Network Singapore which is a full day thought leadership conference on sustainability that brings together knowledge experts, global business leaders, civil society organisations and academia. This year’s Summit will explore what it means to design and build conscientious ecosystems and businesses centred around our people and planet, while creating lasting value for stakeholders.
The event will allow attendees to network and connect with a diverse range of sustainability leaders from private, public, and non-profit sectors as well as exchange insights and expertise on building a responsible, resilient and competitive business?
Our plenary sessions will cover topics such as “Towards Net Zero – Decarbonising to optimize Business Operations”; “Paving the way for Circular Supply Chains” and “Disruptive innovations that enable positive transformation”.
