============================
How are schools preparing children to bring skills, creativity and sustainable, inclusive solutions to the complex problems the world–and our future workplaces–will face? How do we instill in an individual an understanding of their important role as a part of a whole and the enthusiasm and skills to take this knowledge and make a positive contribution to their communities?
As a trailblazer in holistic, values-based education, and the first school in Asia to offer the IB Diploma, it is fitting the capstone event in UWCSEA’s golden jubilee is an international education forum with an agenda intent on re-examining how learning can help shape a better future.
Addressing the themes of Inclusion, Innovation, Partnership, Peace and Sustainability, a series of inspirational keynote speakers and internationally recognized thought leaders will be joined by guest presenters, researchers and expert practitioners. Keynote speakers include:
-
Professor Howard Gardner, Harvard Graduate School of Education
-
Andreas Schleicher, Director for Education and Skills, OECD
-
Forrest Li, Founder and Group CEO of Sea Ltd
-
Professor Kishore Mahbubani, Asia Research Institute, National University of Singapore
The two-day UWCSEA Forum will broadcast live from Singapore on Friday, 22 and Saturday, 23 April. Join UWCSEA to discuss how we connect what schools are teaching and what students are learning for us all to thrive in the future.
