In this issue we feature our Collaborative Innovation Interest Group co-chaired by Juliana Gim, Regional Managing Director Asia, International SOS Pte Ltd and Richard Wen, Chief Executive Officer Three North Stars Pte Ltd. The purpose of this interest group is twofold. First, to encourage companies to collaborate to innovate because collaboration is very often the fastest way to innovate. The interest group (IG) does this by hearing from businesspeople and others who enable collaboration, from those looking to collaborate and from those with an innovation story to tell. The secondary purpose of the (IG) is to provide a pipeline for the annual SICC Awards for Collaborative Innovation. I want to salute the co-chairs and IG members and thank them for their work. In case you missed it, here is the link to our TV programme “Collaborate to Innovate: winning together” which aired on Channel News Asia on 31 March. This programme, with the winners of the 2021 SICC Awards for Collaborative Innovation, serves as the learning component of our annual business awards. We have been producing these programmes since 2018 with the sole aim of helping more people see the commercial benefits of collaboration.
