Dear
Members and Friends
One of the reasons we humans
hold festivals is to allow us
time to pause, to celebrate or
to commemorate and reflect. All
major festivals have light at
their centre. Light as hope.
Light as joy. Just as day
follows night, so light is seen
as representative of the power
of good over evil. The power of
transparency. The power of truth
over opaqueness and lies.
This week many of our Indian
members and friends will
celebrate Deepavali – the
Festival of Lights. My team and
I wish happy Deepavali to
everyone who celebrates the
festival and to all who seek the
light.
