Dear
Members and Friends
A number of you have asked me
what is our Chamber doing to
mark the year of Celebrating SG
Women? As always, we want to do
something differentiated and
meaningful. Something long term,
not short term. We want to
maintain a sustained focus on
what needs to change in our
society and workforce to enable
women and men to lead more
fulfilling and productive lives.
Our new event series will
start by considering:
•
Why does it matter to business
and society that women and men
are enabled to lead more
fulfilling lives at home and at
work?
• How can change happen
at home so that mums and dads
take equal responsibility for
managing the children and the
home?
• How can mindsets
change so that gender bias and
stereotypes no longer feature
and matter?
• How does each
company make men understand
their role in this change
process?
• Celebrating
success and learning from it.
Please let Sharon and me
know what else you would like us
to cover and/or if you would
like to be involved:

Have a good week ahead.
Yours faithfully
