Dear
Members and Friends
Now that companies are allowed
to have up to 75% of their teams
working from the office (WFO)
what happens to working from
home (WFH)? Well, there is no
doubt it is here to stay. I
don’t believe most people will
want to go back to 5-day weeks
WFO ever again. I certainly
don’t and neither does my team.
We are all now in a hybrid world
of work. It would have happened
eventually with the march of
technology but the pandemic has
forced the pace of the change.
This is because the pandemic
has proven that flexible work
arrangements are not only
possible for most jobs but that
they work thanks to the enabling
power of technology.
Productivity has not suffered
either. Output can still be
assessed. It is the quality of
each person’s output that has
always been the most important
thing for commercial and
personal success.
Employers and employees should
embrace this hybrid world of
work recognising its benefits
while not losing the flexibility
it provides.
Yours faithfully
Victor Mills
